first blog: how God influences young women:me

Throughout history, God has influenced thousands of lives through the largest, and even sometimes the smallest of ways. Men and women from all over the world have been reached by some kind of act of God. Some may have heard about God through a missionary, some have had God in their blood for as long as they can remember. For some though, they find Christ though a miracle... I am one of those people.
My name is Christiana Kist, and even though I may not be 30 or 40 years old and an evangelist, I have had my share of experiences.
when I was very little, I (like any other young child brought up in Christ) was passionate about God. My mother was, and still is the strongest, most God fearing, caring mother I have ever known. Even in spite of that, I've always been a daddies girl, he is my hero. In the past couple years, he went from bragging about how in the navy he used to beat guys up, to well, being ashamed of it. I loved him then, but I look up to him now. Anyway, one day I was talking to my mom about what would happen if my dad ever lost his job at the Alaska Railroad, and then my mom said that there was a possibility for a job in Australia! So that Sunday at church durring prayer time, I asked God a question, (not expecting an answer, but thought it couldn't hurt.) I said, "God you are the God of the universe! please reveal to me whether or not we are supposed to be in Australia for your glory." Then out of my complete and total amazement... He answered! I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me, but then the Holy Spirit assured me that I wasn't crazy, that God was really talking to me! He said (in a voice that sounded likde my voice,) "Prepare yourself my daughter, read my word and prepare yourself." I really took this to heart.

Tomorrow, I will tell what happened next and talk about some miracles in other young women's lives as well.

See you then!
